Baška on the island of Krk

Baška is a small town situated on the south east of the island of Krk. It has a typical Mediterranean appearance, with narrow streets and stone houses. Tourism started to develop at the beginning of the 20th century. Baška has many historical sites, you can visit the parish church of the Holy Trinity, Baška heritage museum and famous Baška tablet, which is a national cultural monument. The place has numerous sand and pebble beaches, the most known is Vela beach. Sports fans can enjoy different kinds of water sport, tennis, mini golf, football, table tenis, free climbing and many other.

Krk Town

The beautiful city of Krk developed in the Middle Ages on the site of the Roman town of Curicum. The old town of Krk is encircled by stone walls which together with the four gates and forts define the ancient part of the city. There are three preserved defense forts: the City Hall, the multi – angular Tower and the Frankopan Castle. Inside town walls there are stone cobbled streets with coffee bars, restaurants, shops, souvenir shops and galleries. The town of Krk is a very attractive and most visited place on the island of Krk.
