Vrana Lake is situated on the beautiful Cres Island. It is known as one of the largest fresh water features on the Mediterranean islands. It stores 220 million m3 of fresh water and its maximum depth is 74 meters. The lake is used to supply water to the islands of Lošinj and Cres. Vrana Lake is located in the north-eastern part of the island of Cres. It is a unique hydrological and hydrogeological karst phenomenon.
