Valun on the Cres Island

Valun is a small farmers and fishermens village, located in the bay of Valun, near the town of Cres. Many tourists have discovered it only recently. Valun is known for its quiet and pleasant environment. The village is famous by Valun Table, which is one of the oldest Glagolitic monuments in Croatia and it is kept in the Parish Church. Valun is well known for its excellent gastronomic offer, especially fish specialities. There are also some nice beaches for relaxing and swimming.

Fiesa

Fiesa is a small bay, which is located between Piran and Strunjan. There are two lakes, one is natural and the other is artificial. They are situated near the promenade by the sea, which leads us to Piran. In recent decades bay turned into a popular seaside resort with hotels, camping, villas and apartments. Beach Fiesa has a jetty and it is mostly concrete, just a small part of it is sandy. There are also a bar, diving school and a confectionery.

Resort of Hotel Belvedere

The resort of Hotel Belvedere is located near the main road Izola – Portorož. Restaurant has a terrace offering an amazing view of Izola and the bay. Their gastronomic offer contains delicious Istrian and fish specialities. Comprising five separate villas and camping, the complex also features a souvenir shop, a small shop, a tobacco shop and its own free parking place. The swimming pool operates from June until September. The resort is surrounded by a Strunjan Protected Area which offers numerous possibilities for biking and hiking admist the Mediterranean flora.
